In the world of psychology shame has been lumped with guilt in its explanation and understanding.

It is, and has been, a subject often misunderstood by the healing profession.
Only recently have professionals and therapists begun to understand the full purpose for ShaME.

SHAME is a Spiritual component of our being human. It is the EGO’S favorite tool to make us feel bad. It has been a taboo subject. It is often tied in with religion. It is used to control.

When understood it can be our ALLY. It is the conscience. It encompasses all aspects of our physical, intellectual, emotional and especially the spiritual parts of ourselves.
